La importancia del marketing online y las redes sociales en el pequeño comercio.

En la era digital en la que estamos inmersos, emprender resulta extremadamente difícil si no lo hacemos de la mano del marketing online y las redes sociales. Como sucede con otras disciplinas, el emprendedor puede que no conozca este lenguaje ni la tecnología para su uso, aunque desde PDA tenemos un departamento dedicado a asesorarle en esta materia.
 
En los pequeños y medianos comercios normalmente contamos con un local y un escaparate. Es un símil muy útil para que podáis entender en qué consiste el marketing digital y las redes sociales.

En la estrategia offline, es decir, en nuestra tienda física decoramos nuestro escaparate, ponemos un gran cartel en la entrada con nuestro nombre y nuestro logo para que nos identifiquen y decoramos nuestra tienda u oficina en torno a unos colores y un diseño determinado. También decidimos qué vamos a vender y qué no y cuál va a ser el trato con el cliente.
 
Igual que hacemos eso en nuestra tienda física debemos hacerlo en el mundo online. Tenemos que tener un escaparate bonito (web) con un nombre interesante y que aporte a nuestro negocio (dominio) y numerosos artículos expuestos en nuestras estanterías entorno a un diseño.
 
Además, pueden ayudarnos mucho en esta tarea las redes sociales, que son como las vecinas que entran en nuestra tienda a cotillear y después no compran nada, pero que van y le cuentan a todos los artículos que han visto en la tienda y te hacen promoción.
 
Y es que no ha cambiado tanto el mundo, solo que lo que hacíamos antes en la calle, ahora lo hacemos con el móvil.
 

 

Qué objetivos me marco

 
Como en el mundo offline, el objetivo principal es conseguir un mayor número de ventas. Para ello debemos empezar por el principio: conseguir la visibilidad del negocio en un mar tan grande como es internet. Si intentas hacerlo tú mismo, seguramente conseguirás muy poco, ya que se necesita conocer muy bien ciertas herramientas para llegar a un público amplio. Para conseguir este objetivo puedes seguir estos consejos iniciales:
 
  • Crear un perfil en las redes sociales más interesantes. No es necesario que las tengas todas, pero sí las que puedan aportarte mayor clientes. Si empiezas por Facebook e Instagram seguramente acertarás. Aunque si tu sector se dedica a la política, la televisión o los medios, quizás debas abrir también un perfil en Twitter.
  • Comprar un dominio y crear una web. Todo negocio necesita de un buen identificador luminoso en la entrada, este es tu dominio. Escoge bien porque seguramente será el que te identifique para toda la vida. También es necesaria una web que hable de tu empresa. Esto es importante porque hablarás tú mismo de tu empresa. Si no lo haces, otros lo harán por ti, ya que las opiniones en internet son inmediatas y, además, gratis.
  • Si tienes productos y los puedes vender online, crea tu tienda online. Cuanto más exclusivo sea tu producto más atractivo resultará para los clientes potenciales. Además, somos grandes consumidores de servicios online que con este método conseguirás que te lo paguen antes de realizarlo, algo impensable en el mundo offline.
  • Crea un blog con el que nutrir tus redes sociales. Con un blog darás confianza a los compradores ya que le estás hablando de una manera u otra de cosas relacionadas con tus productos. Crea contenido de calidad e inédito para enlazarlo con redes sociales y situar tu web en las primeras posiciones de los buscadores.
  • Realiza campañas publicitarias. Una vez realizado todo el trabajo previos, es decir, y siguiendo con el símil de la tienda; una vez tengamos el local, el luminoso en la entrada, el escaparate bonito, los artículos en el interior y las ganas para vender, es el momento de dar a conocer el negocio. Para eso podemos apoyarnos como siempre hemos hecho en la publicidad. Puedes invertir en campañas offline (prensa, radio, televisión) o puedes hacerlo en las redes sociales y portales especializados. E incluso puedes realizar estrategias publicitarias para darte a conocer como la promoción a través de influencers o intercambios entre blogs amigos.
